Youth Fishing Rodeo - Saturday, April 15, 2023
Rock Run Area - 8002 Gambrill Park Road, Frederick, MD 21702
9 a.m. - noon.
Celebrate State Parks Week by ‘luring’ your budding anglers to Gambrill State Park for a Fishing Rodeo! 35 registered participants are invited to cast a line into the Rock Run Pond in hopes to catch the largest bass, bluegill and/or catfish. Register your
children ages 5 -15 by calling 301-271-7574 or by emailing
Gambrill.StatePark@maryland.gov. Tackle available from DNR Fishing and Boating; bringing bait is appreciated as limited amounts are available. This event is free to attend with entry fee of $3 per vehicle for MD residents, $5 per vehicle for non-MD residents.
