Swimming Pool​​

The Shad Landing pool is perfect for a cool dip on a hot summer day. The Olympic size pool operates on the following schedule:

• Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Also open Monday of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends
• Pool hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pool is staffed by certified lifeguards​.

The fee for pool use is free for campers, active duty military and veterans. The fee for day users is $6 per person per day. Punch passes are available for groups and visitors wanting to frequent the pool. Golden Age Pass holders, children 5 years old and under and Maryland Park Service Annual Passport holders are admitted free of charge.
