Blue Jay Pavilion

​​Seneca Creek State Park's Blue Jay PavilionBluejay Pavilion, nestled in a wooded area away from the main activity of the park, offers a serene location that seats larger groups of up to 200 people. For even larger groups of up to 400, Nuthatch Pavilion is within view and can be reserved in conjunction with Bluejay.

Parking for 100 vehicles is available, though it is shared with Nuthatch pavilion users. One handicap parking space close to the pavilion. Nearby restrooms and a small playground are shared between Bluejay and Nuthatch Pavilions, and drinking water is available from a spigot near the pavilion. Amplified music is not permitted.

Other amenities include multiple outlets, a horseshoe pit and access to several hiking trails. The horseshoe pit does not include stakes or shoes. A small, covered food preparation area is attached to this pavilion with several large charcoal grills, providing easy access for catering companies.

Daily rental cost (8:00 am - sunset): $196.75
-- Base rate does not include transaction or other applicable fees.
-- The pavilion rental charge does not cover park entrance fees for renters or their guests. Prepaid tickets are available at the Park Office if purchased and distributed to guests in advance.
-- A $35 alcohol permit must be purchased with the pavilion reservation, at least 1 day prior to arrival, to allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
