Destination and activity:
Begin outside at the South Beach Plaza Pollinator Plaza to complete the first page of the Quest. Then head over to the Nature Center to cool off inside and check out the exhibits. The exhibits you’ll be looking for are titled, “Follow Our Flight,” “I Spy,” and the “Chesapeake Bay Mural…” but there’s so much more to see!

Additional exhibits:
Plan some extra time to explore and play! The “Spread Your Wings” exhibit encourages you to compare your size to that of several local birds’ wingspans. “Ospreys of the Chesapeake” lets you hop into a human-sized osprey nest to get a feel for what it might be like to be a nestling. “Beavers” gives you an appreciation for how hard it might be to build a dam. Check out the aquarium filled with live bay specimens and see which you can identify. Climb into a real-life boat and practice fishing or crabbing with props and gear.

Park Quest Completion:
Be sure to have the Naturalist on staff sign your Passport Booklet. They might even have a cool sticker to give you too!

Approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.
