New Germany Bonus Park Quest!

New Germany State Park Event Quest 2022

Quest Materials

The Mountain Maryland Native Plant Festival

After a two year hiatus, the annual Mountain Maryland Native Plant Festival is back at New Germany State Park. What better way to honor the pollinator theme of this year’s Park Quest than by celebrating native plants in our region. There will be presentations, guided walks, artisans, plant vendors and information booths scheduled from 10:00 am through 3:00 pm.

To complete the Event Quest, print a copy of the attached worksheet, or pick one up at the Maryland Conservation Corps table, or the Snack Bar inside the Lake House. You will then try to accomplish the tasks in each BINGO square until you have at least one regular BINGO (five boxes in a row: horizontal, vertical or diagonal). As soon as you get BINGO, you will have accomplished your quest, but guests are encouraged to continue to see how many of the boxes they can accomplish altogether. Families that get a BINGO on their cards can show the attendant at the Snack Bar and receive a prize!

  • The Event Quest is only available on May 14, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
  • The Event Quest is spread out over the day-use area of New Germany State Park.
  • Portions of the event are wheelchair or stroller accessible. Visitors are encouraged to contact New Germany State Park in advance for more information.
  • Pets are not permitted inside facilities, but are welcome outdoors if on a leash.
