Quest Description

Park Quest 2022 at Janes Island State Park invites you to explore the diverse habitats that different pollinators call home.

First, each participant will pick one of four pollinators to be for the day. Then starting at the Nature Center native plant garden, you’ll hike White-Tail Trail during which you’ll encounter four distinctly different habitats that your pollinator could call home. Each habitat is marked with an alphabetic letter and an informational sign. Once you’ve completed the hike, you will select which habitat best suits your chosen pollinator and then complete the attached park quest activity worksheet.

Park maps are available here or at the Camp Store.

This quest will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

White-Tail Trail is flat and stroller accessible but not wheelchair accessible.

Pets on a leash are welcomed.
