Succession Planning Workshop: Passing the Baton

MET and Forever Maryland collaborated on this in-person workshop that discussed an important topic in Maryland’s land trust community – succession planning. This workshop focused on succession planning and transitions for land trust staff in leadership positions. Participants heard from five Maryland land trusts and learned how they navigated their paths and transitioned to new leadership.

Maryland Environmental Trusts hosts semiannual Land Trust Roundtables. These events provide land trust staff, board members and volunteers an opportunity to come together and exchange ideas about the challenges relating to land conservation and stewardship.
